About Okinawan Shorin-Ryu Karate-DoThe Okinawan Shorin-Ryu Karate-Do school was founded
by Renshi Geoffrey Gaudoin in 1986. The dojo was one of the first
martial arts schools established in Orlando, Florida, and has operated
at the same location for over 25 years.
Renshi Gaudoin started training in karate in 1974 and currently holds
the rank of Roku-dan, 6th degree black belt in the Matsubayashi (Shorin)
style. He is a certified Amateur
Athlete Union (A.A.U.) Karate Referee and a National Certified A.A.U.
Coach. This dojo is affiliated with the
United States Matsubayashi-Ryu Karate-Do Federation, founded by
Shihan Mike Ritter.
